If people would put half the energy into something good as we do into foolish distractions like you tube or any other waste of time sites, we would have a huge impact, huge!

I generally agree with you. Certainly a lot of time is wasted on YouTube. I for one am guilty. Alternatively, I think that those with progressive intents using YouTube perhaps can create awareness and community around progressive issues. I think given that there are so many idle out there on YouTube….that it offers a unique place to meet the people where they are and tap those unused resources for greater social justice.
